Located in Forest Lodge/Glebe - close to the City and Inner West.
Brieley guides her students to create strong foundations, prepare and achieve well for their AMEB/ABRSM examinations, and to enjoy their music studies. She also supports them to be successful as performers, in concerts and competitions.
All of Brieley's students are encouraged to learn at their own pace, and to develop their individuality, learning skills and performance confidence. Brieley's teaching is via the craft and traditions of European classical pianism, however her students are also encouraged to enjoy arrangements of film, jazz and popular music scores and to explore other genres.
Students from Brieley's Studio have been successful with their first concert performances and exams, attained AMEB Diplomas when aged 10-15 years old, graduated with bachelor and masters degrees, been prizewinners in competitions and eisteddfods, and they have auditioned successfully for school music scholarships, specialised performance-focused programs and tertiary degrees.
Students currently part of Brieley's Studio are aged 7 to 25 years, and they come from many areas and schools including Forest Lodge Public, Birchgrove Public, Leichhardt Public, Fort Street High School, Mosman Preparatory School, SCEGGS Darlinghurst, Barker College, St Scholastica’s in Glebe and Sydney University.
Brieley is a member of the Music Teachers' Association of NSW and a Steinway Educational Partner. She has been invited to be an adjudicator/examiner for organisations such as the Queensland Conservatorium, University of Queensland School of Music, Australian Institute of Music, Sydney Eisteddfod and the Sydney Conservatorium High School.

Brieley's students are supported to perform in local eisteddfods, school concerts, competitions and other concert events. Recent student performance highlights have included:

a student selected for solo piano performance at the Sydney Town Hall as part of the 2026 Arts Unit 'Primary Proms'

prizes, highly commended and encouragement awards in the 2026 Sydney, Wollongong, St George and Ryde Eisteddfods

an AMusA Diploma awarded from the AMEB to a student aged 10 years
-
two students performing in the 2025 'Little Lev' Australian National Piano Competition for Children in Brisbane (6-7 years, 8-10 years)

a Second Placing in the Preliminary Round of the 2025 Aegio International Piano Competition, with Honourable Mention in the Final (7/8 years)

a 'Gold Award' performance in the Sydney live round of the 2025 Singapore International Music Competition (10-12 years).
