Join a boutique Studio in Sydney's Inner West with an award-winning concert pianist who has over 20 years of teaching experience.
Brieley guides her students to create strong foundations and to achieve high results for AMEB/advanced examinations. She also supports them to be successful as performers, in concerts and competitions.
Students from Brieley's Studio have enjoyed their first performances and exams, attained AMEB Diplomas when aged 10 - 15 years old, graduated with bachelor and masters degrees, been prizewinners in competitions and eisteddfods, and they have auditioned successfully for school music scholarships, specialised performance-focused programs and tertiary degrees.
Students currently part of Brieley's Studio attend schools including Forest Lodge Public, Birchgrove Public, Leichhardt Public, Fort Street High School, Mosman Preparatory School, SCEGGS Darlinghurst, Barker College and St Scholastica’s in Glebe.
All of Brieley's students are encouraged to develop their individuality, learning skills, performance confidence and love of music via the craft of classical pianism.

Brieley's students are encouraged to perform in eisteddfods, school concerts, online competitions, national/international competitions and other concert events.
2025 student successes included the following:

all students performing at the Student Concert in November, one student aged 6 years performing in public for the first time

students awarded Distinction Grades for AMEB 2nd, 4th and 5th Grades

AMusA Diploma awarded from the AMEB for a student aged 10 years

prize winners in the Ryde and St George Eisteddfods in Sydney, including a First Prize in the Sub-Junior Championship at Ryde Eisteddfod

numerous Highly Commended performances in the Ryde, St George and Sydney Eisteddfods

two students being selected to take part in the 'Little Lev' Australian National Piano Competition for Children in Brisbane (6/7 years, 8-10 years), one advancing to Round 2

a Second Placing in the Preliminary Round of the Aegio International Piano Competition, with Honourable Mention in the Final (7/8 years)

a Third Placing in the NSW State Final of the Oz Schools Instrumental Championship with Wildcard invitation to perform in the National Final in Melbourne (School Grades 5/6)

a 'Gold Award' performance in the Sydney live round of the Singapore International Music Competition (10-12 years)

Brieley is a Steinway Educational Partner and a member of the Music Teachers' Association of NSW. She has been invited to be an adjudicator/examiner for organisations such as the Queensland Conservatorium, University of Queensland School of Music, Australian Institute of Music, Sydney Eisteddfod and the Sydney Conservatorium High School.
Brieley has previously been the piano teacher at St Joseph's College (Gregory Terrace) in Brisbane, Head of Piano at the New England Conservatorium in Armidale, and was Lecturer in Classical Piano at the Australian Institute of Music in Sydney from 2020-2024.

Scheduling and Tuition Rates
Lesson times (30/45/60min) are scheduled after school hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and from 10.30am on Saturdays.
Lessons are usually invoiced in accordance with the four school Terms. A maximum of two lessons can be missed per Term with notice given to have makeup lessons or to have missed lessons occasionally rolled over into the next Term. Additional holiday lessons can be arranged.
Lesson costs start at the following rates (Beginner Levels, up to AMEB/ABRSM Grade 4):
$65 per 30min lesson ($585 for a 9 Lesson Term)
$85 per 45min lesson ($765 for a 9 Lesson Term)
A special rate is offered for dedicated students in higher grades:
Two lessons a week, 60min lesson + 45min lesson for $200 per week ($1,800 for a 9 Week Term)
