Trout at The Church
A wonderful way to end the year, what started off as our idea of 'Trout at The Church' became the concert 'Ambient Delights', its first performance on December 14 2025 as part of the Phoenix Central Park series at The Church. A fabulous group of musicians and people to work with, I was lucky to bring together for this project Dan Lopez (violin), Eleanor Streatfeild (cello), Luke Spicer (viola), Andrew Meisel (double bass) and composer/live electronics performer Mark Oliveiro

2025 Student Concert
My Studio was welcomed back to the marvellous local venue of The Church in Alexandria for our 2025 Student Concert. Held in November, this year the event was scheduled before the flurry of end of year activities. I accompanied two talented AMusA level cello students who added their performances to our program, one from the studio of Eleanor Streatfeild, and the other from the studio of Jack Ward. My piano students performances ranged from a first performance from a 6 year old

Lyrical Masterpieces
For 2025, one of my DeClassified Music projects has been to perform in recital with a violinist for my program Lyrical Masterpieces. These concerts for 2025 are being presented by Musica Viva - for the New South Wales regional performances - and by Master Music Studio for the Sydney recital. End of 2024 Student Christmas Concert
My second Student Piano Concert for 2024 was held locally at The Church, allowing my studio of young local musicians to enjoy performing in this beautiful venue and on the superb Fazioli pianos. We were so thankful for this opportunity! Scheduled three days before Christmas, it was a terrific way to finish the year before the long January break, and three o f Eleanor Streatfeild's cello students joined us to provide some variety to the otherwise all piano program. I like to

Our Grand Duet at Tempo Rubato
It was a wonderful feeling to perform Grand Duet: Windows into contrasting worlds in Melbourne on the weekend (August 31). A DeClassifed Music project, the program was a cello and piano recital which indeed offered contrasting windows into the captivating worlds of commanding composers who are not heard enough: Rita Strohl and Nadia Boulanger from France, and Galina Ustvolskaya from Soviet Russia. Cellist Christopher Pidcock and I started with Strohl's ‘Dramatic Sonata’, ke
